Last year in October, Xiaomi announced its flagship Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset. Recent reports reveal that Xiaomi is currently working on the Mi 11T and Mi 11T Pro as successor models to their predecessors.
The latest leak was revealed by Xiaomiui through his Twitter account which states that the main specifications of the M11T are quite complete. It is mentioned that the Mi 11T that will arrive in the global and Indian markets is codenamed Amber. The device will arrive with a 20:9 display, which offers a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Mi 11T will be powered by a MediaTek chipset. Meanwhile, for photography, this smartphone has three cameras consisting of a 64 MP OmniVision OV64B main camera, a wide lens with a Sony IMX355 sensor and a telemacro camera that offers 3x zoom.
A variant of the same device will be released in China under the name Redmi K40 Ultra. Codenamed Agate, this device will also feature a screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Also equipped with a chipset from MediaTek, this smartphone will have three cameras on the back.
The main camera will use a 108 MP Samsung HM2 sensor which is paired with a wide-angle lens using a Sony IMX355 sensor and a telemacro with 3x zoom. Interestingly, the Mi 11T global variant (21081111RG) has recently been spotted on the Indonesian certification site.
Since the Mi 11T is expected to compete with the OnePlus Nord 2, it is likely that the smartphone will feature the Dimensity 1200 chipset. Previous leaks have suggested that the Mi 11T will arrive with a 120Hz OLED display panel. Unfortunately, there is no news about the launch date of the smartphone.
