VIVA – Honor Magic3 and Magic3 Pro have just been announced to the public. Although the Magic3 lineup has many similarities in specifications, each one comes with a different camera configuration.
Both the Honor Magic3 and Magic3 Pro come with a curved screen with a 6.76-inch OLED panel, 120Hz refresh rate, and FHD Plus resolution.
The display panels on both phones support 10-bit color, with a 13MP selfie camera and a 3D ToF sensor for facial recognition.
Relying on camera capabilities, Magic3 and Magic3 Pro both have a 50MP Sony IMX 766 main sensor combined with a 64MP monochrome sensor and a 13MP ultrawide.
Honor adds a 64MP sensor with 3.5x optical zoom capability and digital up to 100x, as quoted from the site GSM Arena, Sunday, August 15, 2021.
To improve the camera’s ability to record images, Honor partnered with IMAX. With this collaboration, both phones support the ability to record video in LOG format.
Specifications and prices
In terms of specifications, these two phones come with a Snapdragon 888 Plus processor combined with 12GB RAM and 512GB ROM.
Honor Magic3 and Magic3 Pro are also equipped with 4,600mAh capable batteries, and are supported by fast charging wired 66w and 50w via wireless.
Honor Magic3 already has IP54 certificate, while Magic3 Pro already has IP68. Both phones run with Magic UI on top of Android 11, and come with Google Mobile Services.
The Honor Magic3 phone is priced at 899 Euros or Rp. 15 million. While the Honor Magic3 Pro was sold for 1,099 Euros or Rp. 18.5 million.
The plan, Honor Magic3 and Magic3 Pro will be sold for the first time for the Chinese market. Even so, Honor still hasn’t revealed when the two phones will launch globally.
