Without Using Yeast, Here’s How To Make Fried Cake Donuts

Fried donut cake recipe

Ingredients (24 pieces)

  • 480 grams of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, put at room temperature
  • 3 large eggs, room temperature
  • 3 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg powder
  • 200 grams of powdered sugar
  • 180 ml of liquid milk
  • Solid oil or vegetable oil for frying

How to make fried donut cake

  1. Beat butter and 130 grams of sugar for two minutes. Add eggs one at a time, beat. Mix flour, baking powder, and a teaspoon of cinnamon powder, salt, and nutmeg.
  2. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture. Add, mix well. Cover the dough with a clean cloth. Store in the refrigerator for two hours. Prepare the table, sprinkle with flour.
  3. Roll out the dough until it is about half a centimeter thick. Cut the dough using a donut cutter.
  4. Heat cooking oil to 190 degrees celsius in a deep frying pan. Fry the donuts until golden brown on both sides. Do not fry the donuts all at once, just gradually.
  5. Drain donuts on paper towels. Mix the remaining sugar and cinnamon powder. Roll the donuts over the sugar and cinnamon.

Tips for storing donuts: wrap donuts using aluminum foil. Place in an airtight container. Store in the freezer, it can last up to three months. Unwrap the aluminum foil, melt at room temperature. Fry again if necessary.
