11 New KLHK Echelon II Officials Asked to Work Maximum

Jakarta, InfoPublik – Eleven Pratama Senior Leaders or equivalent to the new Echelon II under the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) are asked to work hard and commit to the oath of office in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.

Minister of Environment and Forestry (Minister of LHK) Minister Siti said the new officials have important positions and heavy tasks in the agencies they lead.

“The composition of positions filled this afternoon is a composition whose positions are very important,” said the Minister of Environment and Forestry in an official statement received Public Info related to the appointment of eleven KLHK officials on Friday night (13/8/2021).

The Minister of Environment and Forestry further explained that the duties and officials of the Secretariat are services to all work units in the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, and are attached to the Minister directly.

In the scope of the Directorate General of Natural Resources and Ecosystem Conservation (KSDAE), he said, every day he struggles to deal with difficult terrain and subjects in the field.

The Directorate General of Social Forestry and Environmental Partnerships (PSKL) is also considered very important because it reflects justice for the community, namely by realizing access to forest area management through Social Forestry.

“Another important thing is the Directorate of Forest Plant Seeds at the Directorate General of Watershed Management for Forest Rehabilitation (PDASRH) which is expected by President Joko Widodo to be able to realize environmental improvements through forest and land rehabilitation (RHL) on a very large scale in Indonesia,” explained he.

In addition, the Minister of Environment and Forestry also acknowledged that officials in the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) had a tough job. Therefore, he asked the newly appointed officials to lead the UPT in the regions to master the field where they work with all their problems.

“What is important is how sincere we are in working because what we are doing is a public affair. I advise you to put the public interest aside and put aside private matters. What is most needed is joint leadership, let’s work together,” he said.
