MUI South Kalimantan Praying Together for the Late Guru Kapuh

BANJARMASIN, – A number of scholars who are members of the Management of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) South Kalimantan (Kalsel) offer a prayer together after hearing that Tuan Guru H Muhammad Riduan Baseri or commonly called Guru Kapuh died.

The prayer was carried out spontaneously, directly led by the Chair of the South Kalimantan MUI, KH Husin Naparin accompanied by the PJ Governor of South Kalimantan, Safrizal after the inauguration of the MUI Council members at the Mahligai Pancasila Building.

The Acting Governor of South Kalimantan, Safrizal, expressed his condolences and deep condolences for the loss of the South Kalimantan cleric Guru Kapuh, Wednesday (11/8/2021), at around 09.00 at Kandangan Hospital, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency (HSS).

He was previously treated in the ICU, but God wills otherwise.

“We pray that his sins will be forgiven and that his deeds will be doubled, especially the good deeds that he has given,” said Safrizal, Wednesday, (11/8/2021).

Safrizal also recalled that during his time as Acting Governor of South Kalimantan, when he visited his Islamic boarding school last Ramadan, Guru Kapu gave a warm and very kind welcome.

“During my tenure as Governor for almost 7 months in South Kalimantan. And it was probably the most delicious food I tasted when Guru Kapuh served food,” said Safrizal.

Safrizal also said that Guru Kapuh cooks himself with his students, he also plants his own vegetables, he also raises his own chicken and is very neat.

“In the meeting we talked, and there is no intention to invite me to his kekampung Aceh, but God willed otherwise we will send a prayer to him,” he concluded. (Azka)
