Accidentally a device that is strongly suspected to be the Redmi 10 was leaked by an online retailer in Singapore. Indeed, at this time the website has deleted all information about the smartphone, but someone has managed to collect all the official specifications and images.
The smartphone will have four cameras on the back, with the main camera packing a 50 MP sensor. Interestingly, the camera module attached to the smartphone comes with the design introduced in the Mi 10 Ultra and the main camera is surrounded by a striking silver color.
That said, the Redmi 10 will be powered by the Helio G88 chipset which was recently announced by MediaTek. This chipset has an Octa-core CPU, with two Cortex-A75 units clocked at 2.0 GHz. The device will be sold in Singapore with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
Meanwhile, on the front, there is support for a 6.5-inch LCD screen that has a FullHD + resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. There’s a punch-hole in the middle for the 8 MP camera, and there’s no fingerprint under the display panel. Instead, a fingerprint sensor is placed on the side which also doubles as a power button.
The main camera on the back will be accompanied by an 8 MP ultra-wide camera and two 2 MP cameras, each as a macro lens and portrait photos. Other specs include MIUI 12 on top of Android 11, a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Redmi 10 is priced at SGD 249 or equivalent to Rp. 2.6 million, although it is clear that prices will vary by country. There is no launch date, but when the smartphone is officially launched, the Redmi 10 will be available in Grey, White, and Blue.
