ZONABANTEN.com – OPPO re-released the latest HP variant from the OPPO Reno 6 series on August 19, 2021 yesterday, namely OPPO Reno 6 5G and OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G.
Both are part of the sixth generation OPPO Reno Series family.
Previously, OPPO had also presented the regular OPPO Reno 6 variant in Indonesia on July 15, 2021.
The emergence of these three cellphones enliven the class smartphone competition mid-range in the homeland. Strict competition with Vivo X60 Pro and Samsung Galaxy A52.
OPPO Reno 6 5G comes as a variant that has the smallest dimensions, which are 156.8 mm x 72.1 mx 7.6 mm. Followed by the OPPO Reno 6 which measures 159.1 mm x 73.3 mm x 7.8 mm. While the OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G has the largest diameter, which is 160 mm x 73.1 mm x 7.6 mm
As for its weight, the OPPO Reno 6 is the lightest at 173 grams. Then followed by OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G which weighs 177 grams. The OPPO Reno 6 5G came out as the heaviest at 182 grams.
For the color variant, OPPO Reno 6 provides two options, namely Stellar Black and Aurora. Then the OPPO Reno 6 5G which has a choice of Blue, Aurora, Black, and Purple colors. Lastly, the OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G which has Black, Blue, and Aurora color options.
The trio of the sixth Reno Series line both carry AMOLED type screen panels with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and refresh rate 90Hz.
The difference is in the landscape of the screen they have. OPPO Reno 6 brings a 6.4-inch screen landscape. Followed by OPPO Reno 6 5G with a screen size of 6.43 inches. While the screen on the OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G has a diameter of 6.55 inches.
3. Operating system and UI display
The OPPO Reno 6 Series, which was released in 2021, both use the Android 11 operating system (OS).
However, the interface used has a difference. OPPO Reno 6 relies on ColorOS 11.1 for its UI. While the OPPO Reno 6 5G and OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G use the ColorOS 11.3 interface.
OPPO Reno 6 and OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G carry four rear camera configurations with a 64 MP main lens, 8 MP ultrawide lens, 2 MP camera lens, and a 2 MP depth sensor.
While the OPPO 6 5G features a triple camera configuration with a 64 MP main lens (wide), an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2 MP macro sensor.
For selfie needs, OPPO Reno 6 relies on a 44 MP front camera lens. While the OPPO Reno 6 5G and OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G are equipped with lenses selfie 32MP resolution.
OPPO Reno 6 carries a Snapdragon 720 chipset manufactured at 8 nm accompanied by an eight-core CPU and Adreno 618 GPU.
Then the OPPO Reno 6 5G is powered by the Dimensity 900 5G (6 nm) SoC containing an eight-core CPU and Mali-G78 MC4 for the graphics processor.
While the OPPO Reno Pro 5G is supported by the Dimensity 1200 5G processor with 6 nm fabrication. The chipset from MediaTek consists of a configuration of eight CPU cores and a Mali-G77 MC9 graphics processing card.
6. Storage capacity
OPPO Reno 6 features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. The capacity can still be increased by using external memory.
While the OPPO Reno 6 5G and OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G are both equipped with 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB storage options. Both also do not support the use of additional SDCard memory.
The difference is the type of data storage media. OPPO Reno 6 5G uses UFS 2.1. While the OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G provides two options, namely UFS 2.1 (international) and UFS 3.1 (China).
OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G has the largest battery capacity, which is 4,500 mAh. Then the OPPO Reno 6 carries a battery with a capacity of 4,310 mAh. While the OPPO Reno 6 5G presents the smallest battery capacity, which is 4,300 mAh.
Another difference is in the fast charging feature. OPPO Reno 6 is equipped with technology fast charging 50W. While the OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G and OPPO Reno 6 5G carry fast charging 65W power.
