JAKARTA – The Indonesian Navy (AL) officially launched KRI Golok-688 which is called the best stealth missile ship in the world. The Navy’s defense equipment system was launched at the PT Lundin Industry Invest shipyard, Banyuwangi, East Java, Saturday, August 21, 2021.
The Chief of Naval Staff (KSAL) Admiral TNI Yudo Margono explained, KRI Golok is a type of ship that has high speed. The ship is equipped with weapons and missiles.
“As a fast missile ship, its movement must be high speed, whose task is to hit and run,” said Yudo, Sunday.
KRI Golok is an original Indonesian-made ship built by PT Lundin Industry Invest in Banyuwangi. The technology contained in the KRI Golok is a carbon fiber composite material that makes it difficult to detect by enemy radar.
Not only that, KRI Golok is a trimaran ship with a special taper-shaped design designed to go fast.

The specifications for KRI Golok are the KCR Trimaran type vessel with an overall length of 62.53 meters, a width of 16 meters, with a draft height of 18.7 meters and a weight of 53.1 tons.
Maximum speed of 28 knots, cruising speed of 16 knots, this warship is also armed with 30 mm cannon and 12.7 mm gun and is capable of carrying 25 crew members.
KRI Golok will be placed in a strategically vulnerable area to protect Indonesian territory.
