Unlike usual, this year Xiaomi released many flagships class phones. The latest is the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 which comes with the 2nd generation under-screen camera technology. Driven by the best Qualcomm chipset, this is arguably the most powerful Xiaomi device at the moment. But whether this phone is the best in terms of completeness of specifications? For that we will compare with the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra which is the best Mi flagship released this year.
Design Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 VS Mi 11 Ultra
Mi Mix 4 comes with a charming design, influenced by camera technology under the screen with a completely full screen without any holes and notches. This phone is also designed using ceramic material on the back, while on the front there is Gorilla Glass Victus protection. However, the drawback of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 when compared to the Mi 11 Ultra is that it lacks a waterproof certification, which clearly lags behind its rival which has IP68 water resistance.
Although the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 brings camera technology under the screen, to be honest the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra has a superior screen. Mi 11 Ultra is capable of displaying a higher level of detail thanks to its Quad HD+ resolution. The panel it brings is AMOLED which displays up to a billion colors, with a larger 6.81-inch size, 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification, and Dolby Vision support.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 carries the more up-to-date Snapdragon 888+, this chipset is paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra has the same memory configuration in the highest variant, but is powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset.
In this segment the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is superior thanks to a 50 MP main camera, a 48 MP periscope sensor with 5x optical zoom, and a 48 MP ultrawide camera. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 carries a 108 MP main camera which is no less great, but the secondary sensor is lower where there is only an 8 MP periscope camera with 5x optical zoom and a 13 MP ultrawide sensor. Up front, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 has an under-display camera, but it’s a camera of the same level as the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is powered by a 5000 mAh battery which is superior to the 4500 mAh that the Mi Mix 4 brings. However, the Mi Mix 4 has a faster charging technology with a maximum power of 120W compared to the 67W of the Mi 11 Ultra. On the other hand, Mi Mix 4’s wireless charging has a lower power of 50W vs 67W.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is sold in China with an initial Chinese price of 5,999 Yuan or around Rp. 13.3 million. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 starts at $770 or Rp. 11.1 million which is more affordable. Overall, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is a superior phone while the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 puts forward innovation with an under-display camera and a better processor.
