Ingredients

  • 1 kg glutinous rice, wash thoroughly
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 2 pandan leaves, tie a knot
  • 2 tsp salt
  • banana leaf and stick a stick to taste

Chicken Stuffing Ingredients

  • 500 grams of chicken meat, boiled briefly then finely chopped
  • 1 cup thick coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 stalk of lemongrass, crushed
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 lime leaves
  • enough water

Ground spices

  • 5 red onions
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 cm jahe
  • 3 cm galangal
  • 2 hazelnuts

How to Make Chicken Stuffing

1. Saute the spices with a little oil until fragrant. Add water.

2. Add the chopped chicken, sugar, salt, lemongrass, salam, and pickled sauce. Stir well and bring to a boil.

3. Add coconut milk. Cook until dry.

How to Make Lemper

1. Steam the glutinous rice for 10 minutes.

2. Boil coconut milk, salt, and pandan leaves.

3. Mix the steamed glutinous rice with coconut milk. Stir well. Steam again until the sticky rice is cooked.

4. Glutinous rice balls, fill with chicken, then wrap with banana leaves. Do it until all the ingredients run out.

5. Steam the lemper for 20 minutes. Steamed chicken lemper can be enjoyed immediately.
