The Mayor of Medan will have an ‘office’ in the five districts of the Covid-19 Red Zone

Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution, when receiving assistance from a motorized tricycle for transporting garbage and a motorized tricycle for watering plants, from the extended family of the Indonesian Bethel Church (GBI) for the House of Offerings, Wednesday (18/8/2021).

tobasatu.com, Medan | Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution stated that starting today he will have offices in five sub-districts that are still in the Covid-19 red zone. This is so that the handling is more massive to the environmental level.

“From today onwards, Pak Sekda and I will have an office in one of the sub-districts that are still in the red zone. From the 5 red zone sub-districts, we will handle it better and implement the efforts that have been made by the Medan Tuntungan District related to environmental isolation. This is done so that the number of Covid-19 spreads in the sub-district can decrease,” said Bobby Nasution, on the sidelines of receiving assistance from motorized rickshaws for transporting garbage and motorized tricycles for watering plants, from the Indonesian Bethel Church (GBI) Family of Offerings, Wednesday (18 /8/2021).

In order to speed up the handling of the Covid-19 pandemic in Medan City, Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution also previously launched two mobile vaccination cars.

“I thank those who donated the car unit for this mobile vaccination, essentially this is a donation for the people of Medan City, but the City Government is managing it,” said Bobby.

Meanwhile, the latest data on Covid-19 cases in Medan City on Wednesday, August 18 2021, there were 48718 suspected Covid-19 cases where the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 reached 37895, up 410 cases from the day before.

Data from the Health Service reported by the website covid19.pemkomedan.go.id, the highest positive confirmed cases were in Medan Johor District with 592 cases, Medan Helvetia 585 cases, Medan Selayang 535 cases, Medan Tuntungan 482 cases, and Medan Denai 478 cases. (ts-02)
