JAKARTA, JITUNEWS.COM – PDIP agrees with the DKI Ombudsman who asked the police not to put stickers on the homes of residents who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19. The chairman of the PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Gembong Warsono, is worried that this could trigger a commotion.

“I agree, because if that happens it will create a commotion in the community. But the most important task is how to increase the collective awareness of the citizens of the capital city, they want to be vaccinated so that communal immunity can be built properly,” said Gembong to reporters, Tuesday (17/17). 8).

Gembong said that residents should be made aware of the importance of health protocols. According to him, giving stickers can cause chaos.

“Secondly, when they are active, they must continue to apply strict health protocols. That is what the citizens of the capital should be aware of. Not giving stickers, because giving stickers at the homes of unvaccinated residents will create a commotion in the community,” he explained.

According to him, giving stickers is not a good example. Gembong said it was good to build awareness about the importance of the Corona vaccine.

“It doesn’t set a good example, but the best thing is to build awareness about the importance of vaccines. Why do people need to be vaccinated first,” he said.

“So in principle, maybe those who don’t want to be vaccinated may not know the importance of vaccines, because this vaccine is not only done for themselves, but for the environment, for their families and for the wider community,” continued Gembong.
