Lionel Messi Wants a Big House with a Pool, Real Estate Agent: It’s Difficult

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Lionel Messi and his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo have reportedly started a hunt to find a place for them to live in Paris. Messi is said to prefer to rent a house rather than buy it.

“They wanted the same house they had in Barcelona, a contemporary house with a clean look, one that didn’t need repairs and had a yard and a swimming pool,” said Thomas.

“Houses with swimming pools are not easy to find in the Paris market today, especially rental houses.”

According to the report, Messi and his family chose to live in the luxurious Neuilly-sur-Seine in the western suburbs of Paris. The area became Messi’s choice because there are schools for his three children: Thiago, Mateo and Ciro.

In addition, the area is also called not far from the training complex and PSG’s Parc des Princes Stadium.

“They are also looking for an area that is closed, quiet and has high privacy,” said a property agent at the Laure de La Riviere of Barnes company, who also helped Messi and his wife.

Antonela Roccuzzo is said to have seen two houses in the area. Both have the specifications they want. Unfortunately the two houses were not rented out, but sold.

The first house is said to have an area of 813 square meters with 300 meters of rear garden and swimming pool. The price is 25 million euros or around Rp 421.3 billion. The second house has a building area of 1300 square meters plus a yard of 1370 square meters. Although the overall land area is larger, this house is only valued at 20 million euros or around Rp. 337 billion.

The two houses are said to be only 200 meters from a school where Thiago, Mateo and Ciro can study later.

With a contract worth 95 million euros or around Rp. 1.6 trillion that Lionel Messi got from PSG, not including bonuses and other frills, the price is actually not a problem. However, Messi doesn’t seem to be planning to stay long in Paris so he just wants to rent a house and not buy it.
