4 Antioxidant Drink Recipes ala Prophet Muhammad

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the immune system must always be maintained in order to stay healthy and fit. One of them is by increasing antioxidants in the body to protect body cells from damage caused by free radicals.

Antioxidants can be increased by consuming foods and drinks that contain high antioxidants. According to the book Healthy Recipes JSR 200 Healthy Recipes by Dr. Zaidul Akbar, here are some recipes for drinks like the Prophet Muhammad that can be made:

1. Oranges and young dates


  • 2-3 regular oranges
  • 5-7 young dates/ruthab
  • Honey to taste (optional)

How to make:

  • Orange juice. Put the squeezed oranges into the blender
  • Mix with seedless young dates
  • If it’s not sweet enough, you can add honey to taste

2. Apple and spinach


  • 2 apples
  • 2 cucumbers
  • 4 stalks of celery
  • 1 handful of spinach
  • 1 lime
  • 1 thumb size ginger
  • Apple cider vinegar to taste
  • Enough water

How to make:

  • Wash and soak apples, celery, spinach, and cucumbers with apple cider vinegar, then rinse
  • Squeeze lime
  • Wash ginger without peeling
  • Put all the ingredients and enough water into the blender

Note: Drink the potion can be taken every day once in the morning or at night before going to bed. This drink is not recommended for consumption by people with low blood pressure.
