Liputan6.com, Jakarta – As one of the largest automotive markets in the world, it is not surprising that India is a well-known car manufacturing center. Even so, making supercars is not a specialty of the country of Bollywood.
But, one company start up Bangalore-based Mean Metal Motors (MMM) made a splash by launching a prototype of the future supercar, which was labeled Azani.
This vehicle, based on the M-Zero concept which was introduced in 2015.
Launching Rushlane, this model has been determined to be the first electric supercar to be developed in India. In fact, its development has gone even further, with a complete form and detailed specifications.
Exterior design, Azani looks like a supercar from a sci-fi movie with an aerodynamic profile. Comes as a two-door coupe, with a mid-engined.
Several styles were adopted, including LED headlights with DRLs, widened wheel arches, and a bulge on the roof.
Interior details haven’t been revealed yet, but for sure the company will try to recreate the atmosphere of a real race car.
This super car will be offered with various high technologies, such as the use of artificial intelligence (AI) that the company already has, to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

In terms of performance, Azani is said to be powered by an electric motor capable of producing up to 1,000 Tk of power with a peak torque of 1,000 Nm.
This vehicle, gets its power from a 120 kWh battery pack that can reach around 530 km on a single charge.
Its top speed will be limited to 354 km/h, with the ability to accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h in just 2.1 seconds.
A more perfect prototype is expected to arrive in the second half of next year, and more information is expected to be revealed. Regarding the price, this electric supercar will be priced at around $120 thousand or equivalent to Rp. 1.7 billion.
