Realme Book (Slim) will soon be launched on the market, this laptop is launched to compete with the Xiaomi Mi Notebook in the cheap laptop segment at competitive prices. Ahead of its launch, there have been many leaks about specifications, prices and also the appearance of the device’s formation spread on social media.
Twitter account @TechTipster_, shared a poster that claimed to be the Realme Book (Slim) which will be marketed in China. The poster reveals an overview of most of the full device specifications and their prices ahead of its launch this week. According to a post on Twitter, the Realme Book (Slim) is expected to be priced at CNY 4,699 or around Rp. 10 million.
Entering the specifications, several leaks reinforced by the poster believe that the Realme Book (Slim) will feature a 14-inch screen with a 2K WQHD screen resolution and 3:2 aspect ratio. As a boost there’s an 11th generation Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor that works alongside 16GB of DDR4 memory, 512GB of SSD memory for storage, and a battery that appears to be certified to offer 11 hours of battery life.
The battery will likely also get support for 65W fast charging. Other features that it brings include dual speakers with DTS certification and Harman-Kardon branding. This laptop will also offer a 3.5mm audio port, two USB-C ports and one USB-A port.
All the specs shown in this poster are in line with what has been known about the Realme Book (Slim) so far. This laptop will be officially launched for China, India, and most likely other global markets on August 18th.
Realme Book (Slim) will compete directly with Xiaomi’s new generation of laptops, under the Mi Notebook series which has undergone various improvements. While Realme seems intent on offering a business-class ultrabook with a premium aesthetic but at a competitive price, Xiaomi is reportedly gearing up to upgrade its new Mi Notebook lineup by offering a discrete GPU, more powerful processor, and the option of a backlit keyboard.
This laptop from Xiaomi is believed to offer a 3.5K-inch Samsung E4 OLED display with a pixel density of 226 pixels per inch and a tall 16:10 aspect ratio. The engine is powered by an 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor paired with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics and up to 32GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Along with this, Xiaomi offers up to 1TB of SSD storage.
This laptop is also likely to be equipped with a large 80Whr battery which is claimed to be able to play up to 11.5 hours of video playback on a single charge. This laptop supports 130W fast charging which has the ability to be able to charge 50 percent of the battery in just 25 minutes.
Xiaomi has previously introduced the RedmiBook lineup that targets consumers with more affordable needs and prices. As an illustration, if the RedmiBook Pro is priced at Rs 49,999 in India or Rp. 9.6 million, then some observers assume that the new Mi NoteBook will likely be priced at around Rs 60,000 or Rp. 11.6 million.
