5 Recipes of Prophet Muhammad’s Drinks That Help Treat Diabetes

Diabetes is a non-communicable disease characterized by an increase in blood sugar (glucose) levels.

The WHO says that over the past three decades, the number of people with type 2 diabetes has increased dramatically.

Common symptoms that are often seen in diabetics are frequent urination, drastic weight loss, and frequent thirst.

If not treated immediately, diabetes can lead to complications such as chronic kidney disease, nerve damage, and eye damage.

1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp honey

2. Cinnamon and coriander


4 cm cinnamon
1 tbsp coriander
3 star anise
300 ml of hot water
Honey to taste

How to make:

– Put cinnamon, coriander, and star anise in a glass.
– Brew the ingredients with hot water.
– Wait until warm then add honey.
– Drink the ingredients while warm each before breakfast.

3. Black pepper and cinnamon


1 tsp black pepper
4 cm cinnamon
3 seeds of star anise
300 ml of hot water

How to make:

– Brew all ingredients with hot water.
– Then drink while warm.

Note: Consume every morning before breakfast and add honey if you like.

4. Cucumber apple


Local apples to taste
Cucumber to taste
Salt/vinegar to taste
500-600 ml of plain water/ with high pH

How to make:

– Soak and wash the apples and cucumbers with salt or vinegar first.
– Slice them thinly and put them in an airtight bottle filled with water.
– Before consumption, let stand at least 6 hours.

Note: Limit consumption of the herb should not be more than 12 hours from immersion.

5. Avocado seeds


1 avocado
Enough water

How to make:

– Grate avocado seeds then brew it with a glass of hot water.
– Wait until it warms up and the water slightly changes color.
– Consume every 1 to 2 times a day before meals.
